Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy and how does it work?

Psychotherapy sessions take place in a private and confidential space through a process of mutual respect and collaboration, and where the tool to use is the word. In this space you will explore your feelings, thoughts and emotions that you want to bring to the session and together we will try to understand the less conscious aspects that may be contributing to the suffering and affliction you are experiencing.

Gaining greater understanding of the underlying emotional conflicts can bring relief and leads to psychological health and wellbeing. Establishing regular sessions is important to facilitate and give strength to the therapeutic process and a sense of security and continuity when working with emotional difficulties.

Confidentiality is extremely important in this process and a part of our Code of Professional Ethics.
